tired and tiresome and the fault of the last one lies with the nominee, not the nominator

it wasn’t a lack of homework on the Judd Gregg nomination … it was Gregg himself, who sought out the job in the first place, for goodness sake. He didn’t want it only when he found out he couldn’t be the census czar without others being involved.

A CNN article quoting Obama: “Mr. Gregg approached us with interest and seemed enthusiastic,”

I’ve read that Gregg initiated things from several sources, including MSNBC (no worse a source than Fox).

The whole episode smells like political games to me.

Let’s remember that filling the cabinet is often a long and bumpy process with many dropouts. This is nothing new, and it’s hardly the longest any president has taken to get his cabinet filled.

Odd, I recall there being more substance behind the current president’s rhetoric than there was behind his competitor’s.

Humphries/Turtle-Dude that is so tired…Ms. Palin never bragged about seeing Russia from Alaska. She explained that it could be seen from one of them islands (Aleutian?) in the Bering Sea. Besides, intellectual acuity is not the Dems strong-point…everyone knows that. :,D

Obama is going to need to manufacture a crisis to finish filling his cabinet. Anything more than a factoid-extract crossing the inbox of a Blogger’s email will result in glaring scrutiny…
