In that case, move to a place with lots of exciting weather. The interruptions of service to tell us about storms, winds, floods, and such like can get irritating–especially after the third or fourth such announcement in an hour, and even more when it takes three minutes for a 30 second warning.

Breakfast order: Grog’s scrambled eggs – throw in a bit of cheese and some onions, mushrooms, green peppers, whatever is handy (use the burger fixings), if you would Bacon Buttermilk biscuits and gravy with chunks of sausage Tater tots Doc’s World Famous Nuclear Coffee Tomato juice. I can make my own toast, for under the Raspberry jelly.

@LuvH8, I see you like Kitty’s video. I really found it from a mention on Pibgorn, and then (later) noticed Kitty’s likeness.

I’m off for the weekend!! Boss gave us an hour headstart!!

Kab….didn’t see the meteor shower last night. We got a half inch of rain instead. It was that Canadian cold front that dipped down here. Expect more of the same tonight. Bummer!

Hi, Johanan. That’s a rather interesting-looking cup of coffee. I stopped drinking the stuff years ago though. Pepsi is my prefered source of caffeine now.

bmonk–Hale-Bopp was fun for us. We saw it in the states and then later in Scotland but it looked different there I recall. The tail didn’t appear so long. Wonderful experience!

It’s been storming here. Might be over but it’s still rumbling and grumbling. The warning at the bottom of the local weather channel said it was worst about a mile east of us, heading southwest…..

At least my being home all day the first week Taffy was here has helped her learn thunder is nothing to worry about. She would look and me and I’d say “It’s all right. You’re safe’. Now she plays, only starting if it’s a really, really loud crack of thunder.

Hi, Everyone! I’m back from supper. I’m keeping my eye on the radar, as a storm is developing. Too soon to tell if we’ll get any of it or not.

All clear, here in League City, TX. Our next big chance for storms comes mid-week next week.

hope&joy - You’re on the other end of the storm system I’m watching, I would guess. My radar is centered on ICT, so it doesn’t get the KC area. (Stops around Topeka).

Rmom…I’m in Warrensburg a little south and mostly east from KC. We are just having a gentle rain at moment with distant thunder. Nothing on our weather scanner. Hope you get rain if you need it. KC temp is 74 now. Tomorrow we have 60 percent chance in p.m. but still under excessive heat warning until 9pm Sat.

hope&joy - We’re under a heat warning & severe t-storm watch right now. Our area does need the rain, although I hope it isn’t raining in the morning tomorrow when I hope my hubby & son can be outside working on hanging more siding. The county Wichita is in has a burn ban because it is so dry. I have a fair idea of where Warrensburg, MO is at. I’ve made lots of trips on I-70 across MO.

Well, I think I’ll turn in and try and catch some zzzzzz.. Hope to be back for turnover, but if not, Gunite All

We have a gentle rain right now. Too many clouds to see any meteorites. Oh well, next year!
