QC and design quality are Boeing’s responsibility. Maintenance is up to the airlines once delivered. Most of the failures we’ve seen lately have been on older planes, indicating a lack of airline maintenance. Especially on the part of United.
There is something running amuck here. Let’s hope we get to the bottom of this before we have a real catastrophe! By the way do you think there’s built in obsolescence in these aircrafts?

It is common for an inspector to make a write up and have it overridden by a supervisor.
