I have not paid attention to the California political landscape. Weather, yeah, can’t avoid it… but their politics seems to be kind similar from what I do notice as it roars by.

A quick websearch shows that Garvey’s a “businessman” retired from baseball and is running under the GOP banner. No idea what his real politics is because, as I said, I really don’t have a horse in that race.

Don’t get to cozy steve, you’re only there for a little while. Why don’t you surprise us and put country before party.

Steve is running against Adam Schiff, so I don’t think he has much of a chance.

Garvey cannot win. The combined Republican vote was about 35%, and he was the only prominent Republican name…so he got almost all of it. But he has nowhere else to go. He’s there only because three big-time Democrats were running and they split the vote.

Garvey will be very lucky if he gets 40%.

You know, there’s a big difference between some sports star sticking around a year too long and some of our politicians staying put until they’re mentally incoherent.

I haven’t heard of anything this pretty-boy did after baseball. This is not not Alabama or Georgia. And, didn’t go to law school [like that d*ld* Tuberville]. If you don’t see the horror of that in a legislator, consider whether you ought to be voting at all.

Thank goodness the Democratic Party Establishment has their machine in full working order so that we could be prevented from having a good Democrat like Katie Porter or Barbara Lee. Can’t wait for Nancy Pelosi to stop having influence over the state and national party…..

A vote for Mr Steve Garvey is to dishonor the late US Senator Feinstein (D) …and the good people of California and America.

Katie Porter may have sounded like a “sore loser”, but she was also looking at a larger picture for Democratic candidates downstream.
