You can harp on Biden’s age and/or mindset all you want, Mike, but keep in mind that Trump is only four years younger than Biden. Also, Trump is getting more unhinged with the Hush money case in NYC, the impending SCOTUS hearing on the CO Federal Court ruling over Trump’s possible violation of the Fourteenth Amendment, as well as Nikki Haley vowing to stay in the race until at least Super Tuesday. As for Biden, a few weeks ago my brother (a NYT subscriber) told us (we were at a breakfast birthday party for my one year old great nephew) that he had read an article where the writer speculated that Biden will continue to run in the primaries (and take all the criticism from Trump, the GOP, Fox News) but at the Democratic Convention, announce he wouldn’t run after all in November and allow someone like VP Harris or (say) Gov. Newsom to run instead. I’m not an NYT subscriber myself, but I found the concept interesting. But that would be Biden’s call if he decides to do something like that. But if Trump is the GOP nominee in November, I would be voting for whoever the Democratic nominee is (Biden, if not Harris or Newsom). When you’re drowning and given the choice between a rock and a life preserver, you don’t wait for a lifeboat!
