Who’s playing? Boise State? I’d be home watching Auburn. Go Tigers!

@Grog, by the banner in the first tunnel, it’s Boise State.

Better luck next year, Boise State. You might want to get a new field goal kicker.

pouncingtiger. I’m glad the way things worked out. I am not a fan and therefore would not go to one of their games. I can only imagine how badly they’d lose if they had real competition.

@Grog Since Boise State is 5-2 against BCS conference teams over the past four years, and one of the losses was in a bowl game by one point, I expect they’d do quite well. I don’t know if they’d be undefeated, but they’d probably in talk for a spot in the national championship game.

Coulda sworn Boise State beat the tar out of the Horned Frogs last December. Same Horned Frogs that fled the conference after BSU joined it.

I notice the die hards carrying the BSU banner. That must be because one of their wins this year was over a BCS opponent that went on to actually win the confernce champeenship and will go to a BCS bowl while the Broncos will be lucky to get the Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco. As for the stupid blue smurf turf, Idaho is the home of a large number of folks who are proud of their differences when compared to just about anything at all. The blue turf fits them perfectly. They have had several chances to go back to the conventional turf but stick with their difference. Proud folk, those. My favorite turf for Bronco Stadium was the turf they had in the early 60s. It was grass with a big bare spot in the middle that became a mud hole by the Veteran’s day game between Boise and Borah. Great Mudhole Bowl was the best of all of them. We can only wish for such great days and games.
