The beauty industry sells products to women, not men. The looks they create are rarely designed to appeal to men. Other women are more likely to comment on and admire makeup, hairstyles, and dress than men are in my experience. That said, I was never into either fashion or romance, so I may be a little cynical. It’s a wonder I ever got married.
