    Correct! EVERYONE knows Basset don’t bark. They either bay, as in the long sound they make when tracking, or they boof as in the short sound they make as opposed to the bark made by other dogs or the yaps of terriers. The Dears need to listen better.

    If Yorky was with them, he would be yipping. I once referred to Jock and Yorky as “Jock the Yapper and the Yorkshire Yipper”.
