For a wonderful and unfortunately too short time I had four beautiful step-daughters…yeah…never enough bathrooms. Or plumbing and paper products generally, now that I think of it.

Teen age daughters! a rich man’s hobby, mind-expanding, exciting, worrisome. THE most significant change agents in a midlife guy’s settled existence…his own or somebody else’s…

We only have teenage sons. When my wife gets sick of the smell, she throws open the windows. Occasionally, she’ll drive a front-loader in and push the debris out the window.

Simple answer: If I have to clean it, anything that’s left lying on the floor either goes in the trash or washed and sent to Good Will. “But I won’t have anything to wear!” Too bad, so sad!
