Maybe if the Republicans tendered a candidate who was not bat**** crazy a few Dems would vote for them.

The Republicans in the House do not want a Speaker. They don’t want to be told what to do. They are free to play their games and play to their constituents and fund raise. Meanwhile nothing gets done for Americans. 2024 can’t come fast enough.

I know it’s a dumb question.. but why is it wrong to cooperate with the other side? The other side represents a good part of the population, surely they have ideas for the good of the country as well.

They’d been defunding and deconstructing the administrative state for 40 years before they chose the “Deep State” boogeyman.

That’s certainly a backdoor way of saying the Democrats should rescue the crazy Republicans whenever they allow the clowns to run things.

Nope, still not buying it. There is NOTHING in any political theory I’ve ever heard of that demands a normal political party pitch in to save one that’s acting bat$hit crazy.

And yes, I’m on that payroll he’s talking about. So I certainly do have skin in the game.
