The explosion isn’t as messy as it could be because there’s nothing in the skull.

I don’t get it. Where is all this outrage over a movie about a doll? No Republicans I know care one bit about the movie. Dems used to howl about Barbie objectifying women and being an evil doll. Now they seem to love this movie about that same doll.

I suspect the average GOP don’t care about this. Just another made up distraction.

With all the hype on Barbie, no one has said what the storyline is.

Well, it turns out, Ken and Barbie are running a extraterrestrial pizza shop under Rockefeller Center in New York and they’re searching for a Golden Ring and Godzilla comes back to life and … whoops, don’t want to spoil it for anyone. Pony up your $16 like the rest of us. I can tell you this, it answers the submarine problem from Raiders.

The movie’s final scene might actually make the MAGA GOP blow its collective tops.

And yet, Barbie is outperforming Oppenheimer in red states.

The record-breaking I’m seeing contains the qualifier “directed by a woman”. Good for the director, but making that an entire category seems a stretch.

Repubs have me thinking I should go see Barbie, which I wasn’t planning to do. Although I’m concerned about the optics of a middle-aged man going to see it alone.

Go woke and rake it in!

I really don’t get the outrage over the Barbie movie.

Kudos to Rob Rogers for finding a clever way of working in the “Oppenheimer” half of “Barbenheimer” with the use of the mushroom cloud over the elephant’s putative brain.

Since this movie irritates conservatives so much, I’m thinking about setting aside my aversion to pink and seeing it.

Really, who cares about these movies anymore. So what, one did better than another.

Barbie is for equality and fairness which is anathema for republicans.

Went to see this. Very disappointed. No car chases. No gun violence. No gratuitous sex scene. I did enjoy my bucket of popcorn, but I got the popcorn oil all over my lap.
