Morning Susan. Hi lightenup we’ll see you here in a few days once you’re all caught up. Hello fellow Cathyites, I’m on the back deck waiting for the sun to come up. Beautifully peaceful morning. Mom! we’re making the blueberry coffee cake later this morning. (Not yet, Billy is comatose still). :-D

“Simple” must be a relative term here.

Of course, so is “normal” in this comic, but …

LOL @ Cathy……I just plant some flowers and water them, hoping they grow…….so far a few have come up :)..Happy Sunday all ye wonderful Cathy nuts :) Aaron, Billy, Lightenup, Susan, Gretch’s Ma, viperdude, lindzcoop, hendelca, mollie, and everyone else :)

When I have too much on my mind THIS is what it looks like. Aaron told me so. He peered in through my ear and saw all that blocking up my senses.

Mom! we made the coffee cake this morning. We four ate half of it and company throughout the day made all gone with the rest. Definitely worth another try on your part, with our helpful hints and your instincts (re: flouring the pan, for example).

Hello fellow Cathyites. KFG Aaron and I both have green thumbs, though we like greenery more than florals, but we’re pretty good with color lately. Nice to know you have the sense not to spend $350 and go overboard :-)

Fake plants are sooo much easier to take care of. I have fake flowers in my house, which means the cats don’t eat them (although sometimes they chew on them a little),a nd when the cats knock them over, it doesn’t matter (no water or dirt spills).

Cathy and gardening? She only likes to cultivate her couch or clothing and shoe collection….lol
