Hey, pearlandpeach, I think you can count on this strip being from October 14, 1999. It is dated 10-14, and when the classic strips started there was a ‘99 sign in a store Cathy was in. I’m assuming that is because the dates match up (i.e., October 14 was a Thursday in 1999 and is a Thursday now in 2010). So just go from there…the strip will always be 11 years old! (Wonder if they’re going to run all the Y2K stuff? That would be a nice little glimpse into a time capsule…)
Someone commented that it was from 1999. If you want to check out the archives, the 1999/10/04 strip matches up with the 2010/10/04 strip.

Yes, I am aware that not all the above strips fell on a Monday, but you get the point… I really wish they had the digital archive going WAY back to the 1970s strips… :)

I did a print preview and really enlarged it big………..they’re from 1999.
