It’s a sunny but cool morning at 32 degrees. Sunny to partly cloud and 66 degrees.
This is the kind of weather to catch cold in, hot then cold and hot then cold. You get the idea. It’s suppose to be warming up next week, so maybe we are ready for BBQ season. (^.^)
The story of Ruth comes up in the degree work of many orders. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the Rebeca degree but I know that Ruth and most all of the women of the Bible. In the Forth degree Grange the Lady Assistant Steward quotes the book of Ruth when she says to Naomi “Entreat me not to leave thee…” Ruth’s love for her mother-in-law is legendary and a good lesson in love.
The water wasn’t off for very long yesterday. It was supposed to be 9 to 3 and ended up being roughly 10 to 11. Either another board member or I sat outside under the carport canopy the whole time they were here in order to “buffer” them from curious or outraged residents. There was only one minor incident and our board president took care of that. And they really appreciated the cold water and sodas.
My housekeeper usually comes on every other Thursday and yesterday was one of her scheduled days. Since I knew that the water was to be turned off, we rescheduled for next Tuesday. Of course, then the water got turned back on before her normal arrival time. We can’t win!
Not a lot going on today. I’m planning to make a pizza and garlic bread for dinner. Other than that, not much.
It’s a bright sunshiny day outside. We got up to 95 yesterday, a bit above the forecast. According to today’s forecast we aren’t even supposed to get up to 90. We’ll see.
