Poor Wally! No variety in his diet … and too much canned food has to be bad for his dental health. Usually when I prepare Finn’s bowl, he gets Science Diet small kibble, and some kind of fresh vegetable — usually cut up broccoli crowns or packaged Spring Mix. Then I sprinkle just a little bit of shredded Parmesan, and add something specially for his teeth. That could be a small Dentastix or something similar.
I didn’t bother trying to teach our dog 3 words for the same thing served at different times of day. She gets “dinner” at 8 in the morning, 5:30 in the evening, and then later right before we head up to bed. She gets kibble with a little boiled chicken sprinkled over the top.
