There’s some truth in that. Time is valuable.

She makes it sound like Betty should be blessed that she has some spare time to spend with her. Hopefully for Betty, she doesn’t have much time to spare for her.

I have never understood this relationship.

Younger generations don’t give greeting cards at all. My 30 something kids never do despite us always giving them cards for every event
