Three inches does seem like a lot. Wonder how past players who excelled at stealing bases feel about it.
How long until they start selling the tops of the bases as advertising space to local pizzerias?
They do need more scoring and shorter game time. Looks like the current changes will be effective but rarely are major differences final without more tweaking. If the pendulum swings too far they can pull it back.
So now runners are going to do line dancing, you know, the Two Step.
