Wagner group, or in other words, cannon fodder.

The Wagner Group are mercenaries. They are in it for profit. They are paid way better than the regular Russian military. They likely have other perks, better access to weapons and ammunition. They will do whatever horrible thing Putin tells them to do without question. However, the reason those goons aren’t in an actual government military, is they don’t have the discipline to commit to serving their country. They tend towards violent criminal behavior. Those serving honorably in their country’s military, making the sacrifices that comes with that will despise them for what they are and what they do.

I assume Ukraine is shrugging since it’s for sure they are not surrendering.

Relying on mercenaries won’t end well. The late Roman empire tried that…
