That clean air thing is just a myth. Yeah, there’s not so much pollution up there, but as a percentage of the volume it’s surely no better and might even be worse.

The debacle of US littoral combat ships also deserves mention. Although the total costs have been less than the F35, the ships are even less effective — they aren’t capable of doing ANY of the tasks they were “designed” and acquired for — and the Navy is STILL acquiring them.

5 different and pointed cartoons off one idea. That seems to be your specialty – and you’re a master of it.

According to MTG, it’s Biden that has us headed to WWIII, by backing Ukraine. Of course, she also advocates splitting our country along red state/blue states but says that’s NOT civil war.

Those of us that have a little nest egg stuck back are glad to see interest rates rising. Maybe now we can get a little bit of interest on our savings.

Brian, I’m always impressed by how you’re able to put the wordiest events into simple panels. Thanks ♥

Inre panel 5: “They (upper bourgeoisie) had subscribed to democracy…for more than a century because it had enabled them to procure, and then protect their rich holding. Now in the mid-1920’s democracy, as it functioned in the wobbly Third Republic appeared to them to threaten their entrenched position and worse, their property and pocketbooks. That the threat was largely a fantasy did not make it seem less real to them. It was in this uneasy state of mind that they began to join together to save not France, or even the Republic, but their class and its wealth!”Excerpt from chapter 11, “Collapse of the Third Republic” by William L. Shirer, about the increasing political, social and economic chaos afflicting France between the two great wars.
