Carmen needs a cat-omindium in Miami.

Poncho has too many “business” connections with this family to be taking one of them hostage!

This has been Poncho’s plan from day one of the courtship. Yip yip yip yip yip

Forget it. Any Miami condo in a neighborhood you’d want to live in has been snatched up by overseas billionaires looking for a place to park some money.

I first read this as: if Poncho doesn’t get the food, the hostage “gets it” = the food. I couldn’t figure out why Poncho would threaten to give Carmen his food. Then I remembered, it’s Poncho. He wants it all. I was misreading. Actually, Poncho needs to be a bit more specific.

However, if I were Carmen and someone threatened to make me eat cat food, I’d give them anything they want, so Poncho could have had it all if he hadn’t overdone it, as usual.

Is that a recording device he’s holding in panel one? :)

Yes. I guess that he’s recording her read the note and send it to Chazz. Ok. I don’t understand since they’re in Chazz and Carmen’s house already.

Why. Keep. This. Dog?! lol Of course that’s the whole premise of the strip.
