Hubby worked the afternoon/evening shift. When he would change into his work shirt, the dogs would hang their heads and mope around much like Fred today. I neer figured out how they knew it was his work shirt, since it wasn’t much different than his other shirts; it just had his name embroidered on the front. But they never paid any attention when he changed iinto any other shirt. Five minutes after he left, they were busy running around outside or hounding me for treats!
