“Your dads fell off.” is referring to the popsicle sticks Logan is holding that are painted with AJ’s dads on them.
And guys, AJ has those lovey-dovey hearts all around him, of course he has a crush. If either of them were a girl I feel like everyone would understand, but because it’s two boys suddenly everyone is acting like historians pretending homosexual relationships are “just good friends”. I’m not sure how it could be made any clearer.
I remember having crush feelings for a couple older kids when I was in like second or third grade. It was the 70s, and they were siblings with white hair and dark roots and I thought they were sooo beautiful. But it was not a sexual attraction thing. I wanted to bask in their presence if at all possible. I’m straight, but I can still feel that sort of thing for people who are not oriented toward me and vice versa. Just sayin.
Okay, I get the frustration of not having an update. But guys, this comic isn’t the creators’ specific job, it’s a side project. They have a life and jobs to work on too. Go a little easier on them maybe.
As for the Patreon, if they aren’t providing supplementary rewards, or at least pausing the billings, then yeah, that’s a bit more of a problem. But even then, what I stated above still applies.
