It is in fact RIDICULOUSLY hard to believe that the Democrats lost. In fact, the only folks who’ve got the practice to believe that are the Qpublicans. The more reality-oriented folks tend to believe the facts instead.

At least Ted admits he doesn’t care about a return of tax cuts for billionaires, “cruelty is the point” immigration policy, erosion of the separation of Church & State, avoiding more Federalist Society Judges who will block any legislation that might help someone, etc, etc.

Democrats didn’t actually lose. There were just enough women that want to be subjugated by men that made it possible to allow Republicans to violate them and the country for the next 2 years.

    …there’s always the Executive PENS!

Now all the gop will do is WASTE TAXPAYERS MONEY on REVENGE, IRRELEVANT INVESTIGATIONS THAT MEAN NOTHING because they happened years ago and has nothing to do with fighting for our rights, WE THE PEOPLE!

THEY GOT NO PLAN!! They NEVER DO!

Wouldn’t it be a nice gift, if for once in their history, they would do what they were elected to do…WORK FOR THE CITIZENS OF AMERICA and not themselves?

There are so many “mad dog” vengeful senators and representatives in the GOP it’s embarrassing! And they don’t even care! Jim Jordan, McCarthy, Cruz, Paul and a bunch of others seeking revenge, because they have no filter, no class, no soul, no ethics, no professionalism, no loyalty to America, and they’re nothing but cowards, bullies and ignorant A-holes who can’t take a loss! G. R. O. W. U. P. ❗️❗️❗️❗️

Now we have another rump, Lake, who can’t take defeat!

Throwing tantrums throughout her campaign just shows how ignorant she is and is STILL lapping at rumps @$$

    Pathetic❗️

We needed to hold the House, win a Manchin and Sinema proof Senate, eliminate the filibuster and stack the Extreme Court if we had any chance of stopping the Coup of 2024. So yeah, we lost even though we made historic gains in the states. The best thing about losing the House though is Pelosi’s retirement. The youth vote was crucial, will democrats take a hint?

Neither party is perfect, and though there are people in one party who pretty much share my societal values and goals (and perhaps none in the opposition party) NOT ALL OF THEM do.

Even though the goals of the party I most disagree with are goals I almost universally despise and totally fear implementation of, because I think that would result in the end of democracy and implementation of an authoritarian government which will make the lives of every American (except for the exceptionally wealthy and RWNJ totalitarian zealots too ideologically blinded to be aware they are exploited stooges) unendurable awful for however long the regime is able to persist — as it would also be a regime opposed to AGW climate change mitigation, it just might be a regime which holds power right up until civilizational collapse in a few decades, maybe a century or so at best.

BUT, since some ideologically purity perfectionist progressives advise staying away from polling places so RWNJ candidates are able to win every local/state/federal election, because of some idiotic notion that this will WAKE UP Democratic national leadership and result in a TOTAL progressive agenda by Party & candidates in some future election, and also simultaneously inspire a sufficient number of US voters to TURN OUT and ELECT THEM and own government AT LAST, I have no choice but to avoid voting and endure the EXTREMELY UNDESIRABLE outcomes until this aforementioned BLUE WAVE finally happens, and godawful conservatism disappears.

Let us pray to some nonexistent supernatural(sic) entity and hope it pops itself into being and answers our prayer.

‘Cause that is the only hope for this $hithou$e $tupid $trategy.

I have trouble characterizing the midterm as an overall loss for Democrats. They kept the Senate, the made many gains on the state level (look at Michigan, a battleground state) and they lost the house by an incredibly small margin. This loss was about as close to winning as a loss can be…especially given the historical outcome that usually occurs at midterms. Politics (and life) are not an arena where the difference between a win and a loss is binary like a football or baseball game.

Without Republican racist gerrymandering Democrats won. Sadly, the USA will be the big loser from this. The rest of the world will watch in both horror and amazement to the idiocracy coming from the Republican party.
