The treatment of Venezuelans is shameful, considering that they are fleeing a much worse regime than Cubans, who almost always are welcomed with open arms.

HERE’S WHY WE DON’T HAVE IMMIGRATION REFORM:

1. In 2013 Democrats passed a bi-partisan immigration reform bill in the Senate.

2. House Republicans REFUSED to allow the bill to even be debated.

3. Obama asked Republicans to propose THEIR OWN immigration bill.

4. Republicans REFUSED.

5. Then Republicans demanded that Obama do something about illegal immigration!

6. So Obama used his executive authority to enact some immigration reforms.

7. Republicans were outraged and called Obama a tyrant for doing exactly what they asked him to do.

REPUBLICANS DON’T REALLY WANT IMMIGRATION REFORM; THEY WANT A PROBLEM THEY CAN BLAME DEMOCRATS FOR AND SCARE THEIR IDIOT VOTERS WITH! AND THEIR OWNERS WANT A CHEAP, CAPTIVE LABOR SOURCE.

Since when is enforcing immigration law “anit-immigrant policy?”

I think I agree with this toon but I don’t understand what are the great purple things crushing the migrant are.

Don’t forget the growing # of former “illegal immigrants” who now are converting to GQP and are against illegal immigration.
