After the Hurricane Agnes flood, Ed hired an accountant who promised to find all the deductions available from storm damage. Ed signed the tax forms with no questions. IRS called him in and the first question was about the deduction for the road tax paid on fuel for his airplane. Ed didn’t have an airplane. Yes, accountant went to prison. Ed wasn’t the only fool duped.
