He’s missing the way she’s likely to actually behave: When she fights FOR women, she’s fighting FOR. Not against. Building consensus, working together, understanding how it is when the cards are stacked against you: That’s what I expect from women. And usually, that’s at least close to what happens.
He’s a male chauvinist, so of course he’s going to see feminism as anti-male. As the saying goes, when you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.
Worked in nuclear power all my working life. Our plant was unionized. We had women mechanics, electronic techs, chemistry techs, and radiological techs. All paid the same wage as the men, most of the women carried their load and didn’t expect special deals. However we had a few that took advantage of being a woman. Women had to be on birth control to enter radiation areas, some of the techs would lie that they weren’t and thusly avoid going into those areas. We knew this because we knew their husbands. On salary we had female engineers that had gotten their senior reactor operator license’s that found out what their male equivalents salary’s were. That is when they learned how to negotiate their salary. If you have valuable skills you have power. In fact two of them ended up making more then the men. On secretaries, that is an individual choice on what type of work you wish to do. Supply and demand ended up keeping secretarial work lower pay then the mechanics and technicians who tend to get dirty during the workday.
When I was a kid, halfway through the last century, I wondered why any civilization would set aside half its population for servitude. They are all human beings and capable of all the intellectual power of humans. There are strong ones and weak ones, not dependent on gender.
I guess I was not a feminist or a patriarch as much as a humanist.

You know you don’t have to fight against men if you support candidates supporting women
There a fine line between supporting and FREAKING MISANDARY
I’m sure she won’t cross that

At the rate that the “white population” is NOT reproducing, you have no one – but yourself to blame!!!

Feeling threatened by a woman is a sign of how insecure and cowardly your really are.

Too bad more women didn’t turn out to vote for Maloney. She lost to Nader by more than 2 to 1 with very low turnout. Shame on the Manhattanites.

Who knew it is the male chauvinist pigs who have the most reason to fear the Fighting Irish?

I have the power value of the average, middle class white man at about 1.4 people.

Well, if it’s such a big dilemma for you, just vote against her and don’t tell anybody! Seems like that would make about 98% of the problem go away…

Why is fighting for women fighting against men? Or is that more mansplaining?
