Give Howie the benefit of the doubt – it wasn’t racist, just dumb. The number of college students making the NBA would be a very small percentage of 1%.
Our economy needs the most hard-working and intelligent entrepreneurs to be successful. Instead, we give preference to kids whose parents or grandparents earned the money, while the young, ambitious and intelligent are saddled with loans that make it all but impossible to open a business.
