    Morning, Village!

Congregations are leaving the United Methodist Church left and right. Yesterday the two largest churches in Houston voted to disaffiliate, one with a 96% vote and the other with 100%. This evening, wife and I will go to Lufkin where the Global Methodist Church is having a big informational conference. We expect it will be attended by hundreds, maybe a couple thousand.

This is such a big thing! I’ve been praying for a spiritual awakening in our country. Now I’m wondering if it might be beginning!

    Welcome to the week Vagabonds

We are right out of the gate triple H, 70 degrees before sunrise (O.O) and it’s cloudy. Potential for T-storms and 84 degrees. Please pass the oxygen.

Happy is the man, tomorrow is VT’s primary. It may not end the political adds but it will cut down on them a lot.

It’s Monday, it’s triple H and outside of politics I ain’t got nothing on my mind.

With that established I’ll say may God bless and have a prime day

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

We just got back from taking Michael to the oral surgeon. He had that broken molar extracted. He did just fine and is now going through the post-tooth-pulling stage. The Novocain hasn’t worn off yet.

It’s 100 degrees on the patio, but that’s okay. Yesterday it got up to 108. The forecast is for 103 and the humidity is holding at 25% despite clouds this morning.

Other than keeping an eye on the pool today – I’m the official liaison with the new pool guy – not much is on the horizon. I’ll head over to the pharmacy in a couple of hours to pick up Michael’s pain medication, but that’s the only thing on the agenda.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.
