Remember: It’s OKAY If A Republican Does It!

The major players in Watergate, starting from the top, John Mitchell (then), John Eastman (now) all did jail time. Time to start “locking them up.”

Watergate was a minor blip compared to Trump’s attempted insurrection.

And the normal people that populated the GOP at the time quickly lined up against his crimes.

Traitor republiguns hate democracy.

Brilliant.

Nixon, for all his personal demons, was an intelligent man and a patriot.

trump is nothing but demons.

I would draw a similar conclusion.

No one really liked Nixon to begin with, which likely hurt him the most.

I’m waiting for a bio-pic about tRump. Perhaps Oliver Stone can produce it with Kevin Costner in the lead role (but he’d have to put on ~150 pounds first).

Yet the evidence for Watergate was not made up.

My mother, an unusually intelligent woman, claimed never to have figured out “what Nixon did wrong”. I can’t say more. I don’t know if she thought that whatever the fuss was about, “they all do it”, or something more subtle. No telling.
