An important additional item – Finland and Sweden have been admitted to NATO, as they negotiated to get Turkey to stand down on their objection. That and the admission of Ukraine into the EU mark a measurable strengthening of Europe. It’s still very bad in Ukraine, but as long as the West continues in all types of support, the arrows are pointing the right way.
