I’m definitely not an economics expert, but even I saw this coming.
Waiting for the gold prices to crash. Endless commercials about gold being a safe investment, but when people inherit gold they’ll have to sell it to settle the estate.
The “crypto boom/bust” reminds me of the early days of the Internet. People were passing out stock in startup companies like it was a “stocking stuffer”. A few, very few got stock that was eventually worth something. More found out the difference between common stock and preferred stock when the company went under.
