    Good morning Vagabonds

I just had an affectionate puddy tat on my lap not long ago.

Saw 59 first thing this morning and fair, however, we’re expecting rain and scattered T-storms and a high of 79. Rain is needed, but, it could go about it quietly. (^.^)

Nothing much going on today but I’ll be happy to takeit easy.

Keep cool guys and may God bless you all.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

We’re overcast again this morning with rain expected this afternoon. Funny, though, I just looked at the forecast and while it says that it is currently “light rain”, the forecast is for “partly sunny” and 104. Since these clouds are horizon to horizon with almost zero wind, I doubt we’ll see the sun much.

Nothing on the calendar for today except the laundry and that pretty much does itself. (5 minute flurry of activity followed by an hour’s wait for the next one.) So I guess I’ll go back to my “dragon” books. Anne McCaffrey’s “Dragonriders of Pern” series will really suck you in. They are kinda sci-fi fantasy but not really. The first one is “Dragonflight” and if you get sucked in, there are 21 more, a few with her son Todd, a few by Todd alone and one by her daughter Gigi (though I actually don’t recommend that one). In fact, McCaffrey was a very prolific Sci-fi writer and I have enjoyed everything of hers that I have read, both series and stand-alones.

The gardeners are here, so naturally the cats are inside beating on us to make the noises stop. Add to that the fact that Smokey really wants the milk in my cereal bowl and we have quite the cacophony.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.

One of the ads I got this morning was a silhouette of a cat’s head and said “Sometimes I stay inside because it’s too peopley out there.” I can relate.
