    Morning, Village!

Jan beat me yesterday with a 105. We only had a 101.

    Here we go again Vagabonds

Another day, another, dollar? Well, that’s the way it used to be. Now, it’s a 1000 dollars a day, once a mouth.

Dreary again, maybe a little drizzle as well. The thermometer was showing me 61, it’s a little humid as well. Clearing skies as the day goes on but, not too clear, predicted high 75. Gary’s temperature map showed a lot heat up there in Montana but I didn’t see a temperature. Anyway Rita, keep cool. Could be worse, you all could be in Furnace Creek.

Speaking of Death Valley made me think of a radio show I heard about, Mel Blanc and a woman, name I can’t remember, Mel is using his Yosemite Sam voice.

Mel: Gal, your face reminds me of mah home.

Gal: Oh, where do you live?

    Mel: Death Valley.

Yike! Talk about a put down. (^.^)

Some where around here I have a case full of old radio programs on cassette tapes like, “War of the Worlds” and “Dracula” both from Mercury Theatre On the Air also “The Shadow” and “Inner Sanctum” but, I can’t find them. Oh well, some day. (^.^)

Keep cool folks and may God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yesterday turned out to be an “adventure” day. My camera decided suddenly not to work anymore so we went to Best Buy to see what is available these days. They have displays of the equivalent of my little Kodak, but the only ones they had available started at $450 and would never fit into my pocket. We also had lunch at Subway while we were out and then on to Wal-Mart for the same reason. They had zero pocket cameras. But we really got our steps in for the day.

I tried Amazon, too. No luck yet. I guess everyone uses their phones for cameras so much that real cameras like my little Kodak have fallen by the wayside.

LOL! I just got finished recharging the battery for my camera and that was the problem. It’s a good thing I didn’t buy that $450 Canon at Best Buy. I will go back to Amazon and get some new batteries for the Kodak.

Not much happening today other than our morning and evening walks. Michael does visit the medical vampire this afternoon, but that’s about all.

We got up to 107 yesterday on a forecast of 101. Today’s forecast is down to 99 but it’s already 90 and it isn’t even 9:30 yet.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.

nice weather again. supposed to reach 82 today before the afternoon t-shower. then it’ll be real nice for the evening.

i’m expecting my yearly wine delivery this afternoon. it’s 6 cases this time. a good variety of reds. we’re not fortunate enough to have a bev-and-mo like the big cities do. so, i stock up at the annual sale.

    xxoo
