Forget lawns. The biggest culprit is the stupidity of planting only male trees (and shrubs).

However, most pollen that people are allergic to is from trees and grasses, not flowers.
6.6 is the count today, the 16th. My nose still runs like crazy..since January when the pollen started getting higher here on the SE coast. Ugh.
