GATURRO: G. is still being a “mystery cat” witness to the damage to the window. I am having trouble translating “BUCHON” in the last panel, other to find commentary that it is Mexican Slang. However, a commenter says that Spanish-language slang may have different meanings in different locales. So what does “BUCHON” mean in Argentina?
CRANKSHAFT: I like the scarecrow! And, although I don’t always comment on this strip, it’s one of my favorites! Tom Batiuk has nailed the character (Ed C.), and Dan Davis’ artwork is always a delight! Thanks, Tom & Dan!

MW: they’ve been dating for two years. It’s hard to track time in Mary Worth-time.
