Too true. I’m glad we have a functioning dishwasher now. (It still needs to be loaded. When it loads itself, then we’ll have a truly automatic dishwasher.) We do have a backup one that we got in Oakland because we didn’t have a dishwasher in the apartment. It is a small cube that can handle a place setting for four or a meal’s worth of pots and pans. It was a Haier from QVC. What’s nice about it is that it’s a size meant for a countertop.
Plenty of appliances now don’t buzz when done, but chime instead. I like that more than the nasty buzzing or the obnoxiously loud and discordant beep.
