I’m 70 & I gave up driving when an elderly man almost T-boned my car on my side of the car when I was turning left onto the road to my driveway. I’d like not to die this way.
You do have to be extra careful with Hedgehogs. They rarely use the marked crossing and just jump out from the curb.
Better to be safe than run down (over?) a hedgehog. Besides, if she can see a pine cone at 70 mph and stop, hat’s off to her.
Don’t the hedgehogs use the “hedgehogs cross here” signs to know where to cross the road?
