My grandmother liked nothing more than a good leg of lamb. However, my mother absolutely detested lamb, probably from having to eat it a lot when growing up. So, I never had it as a kid. When I finally tried roast lamb as an adult, I thought it was great and regretted never having had it when growing up. I have had lamb burgers a few times, pretty good but they tend to be a bit too rich.
My father really disliked lamb too, and I noticed that most people that age (WWII generation) and especially men, didn’t like it at all. I’ve wondered if that was the result of having cheap lamb (maybe more like mutton) during WWII, or perhaps it was one of the more affordable meats during the Depression?

I am a vegan and wonder how anyone can eat a baby, after all a Lamb is a baby.

I like lamb chops, a lot! Leg of lamb, yum! Goat is even better. The umami is slightly different from lamb, delicious!
