Why does everyone think pageants are just show up in your finery and you’re done?

That wasn’t part of the deal.

“You mean I don’t get to just sit back and look radiant?”

She still has the weird idea that things come without work—-her work.

This is actually quite out of character. Yes, Heart is lazy and loves chilling in front of the TV or in bed, eating chips. BUT she has always followed through when it comes to her ambition of being an actress. She has had regular dance practice for years without complaints.
