    Good morning Vagabonds

Fog in the air, can’t see the valley, can’t even see the little mountain just north of us. I saw 61 on the thermometer when I got up this morning, the sun is shining on the house been doing that for a while now. They are talking scattered T-storms this morning, picking up this afternoon, high 81. Yah baby.

Ah, Sunday, the day of rest from active toil. Also a day to recharge your spiritual batteries with a church service and the singing of hymns. A day to enjoy nature and observe everything with your eyes closed.

Blessed Sabbath Vagabonds, may God Give you peace.

it’s going to be a lovely 56 this afternoon. nice.

we’ll be watching the part 2 of ‘qualifying’ for the Indy 500. yesterday they were able to give all the drivers their first chances to get a slot. the rain shut the day down about 2 hours early, so there wasn’t time to ‘bump’. today they’ll establish where the top 12 drivers will start next weekend.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

Isn’t it amazing how time can get away from you? I left here just after 8 for church and didn’t get home until well after noon. 1/2 hour drive, 1 1/2 hour service and then 2 hours grocery shopping with a bit more drive time thrown in for good measure. My back does not like me being on my feet for that long.

Mark is right. There’s nothing like a good solid teaching from the Word of God to get your week off to the right start. It’s energizing!

We’re looking at a forecast of 93 today, after 86 yesterday. We won’t get back up to the triple digit range until Wednesday. We’ve had the AC off and doors open for the last two days, and while a bit warmer than I like, it was great to have fresh air. The AC is back on today. We probably won’t be able to open up again until late September. Next month marks the start of monsoon season around here, so here’s hoping that we siphon off some of Chris’ rain.

Everyone have a safe and blessed Sunday.
