As a grown man. I’ve had people tell me I got my dad’s sense of authority combined with my mom’s voice. I’m usually shy, but when I need to, I can be justly authoritative. But I agree, I have somewhat of a high voice.
According to Mom, I’ve mastered my grandma’s look of disapproval. It’s apparently a good expression. Powerful.
I’ll be interested to see what I inherit from my folks in terms of parenting style.
