You know, I'm still not sure I did the right thing today. Maybe the woman didn't mean to hit her little boy. Maybe she just snapped! What if the whole thing was just an accident? I mean, it's not like I'm a perfect parent or anything... How would I feel if someone jumped all over me when I made a mistake? So far you haven't made the mistake of beating up your kids. Yeah, but that's the trouble with being a parent... You never run out of opportunities to mess up.

I say that Wanda is Not The Jerk here. Maybe she could have found a different, non-violent way of dealing with this. However, sometimes, you don’t have time to think, you just do. And the woman Wanda confronted didn’t seem like she would listen to reason. Therefore, Wanda, I think you have every right to feel how you feel, but at the same time, I hope that child is in a safer home now.
