Today is:

National Seed Swap Day. I’ve ordered my garden seeds but they haven’t come yet. I won’t be swapping any of them when they do come, though.

National Corn Chip Day

National Puzzle Day. I love all types of puzzles. I’m currently working on a jigsaw puzzle, but the cats are making that very difficult. I know that you can do jigsaw puzzles on the computer, and I have done so, but I still like being able to handle the pieces. Just like I prefer real books to e-books. I don’t do e-books.

It was 71 here yesterday…no rain forecast for the rest of the winter. Not good!! California is bone dry…again. My cats don’t seem to mind..all 10 of them.

My gosh, but both Annie and Chesney are drawn most unattractively today. That’s as kind a comment as I could come up with.

I have developed a mild case of the flu – chills and body aches started yesterday morning. Our little local school offers covid tests, I had negative results within the hour. Feeling slightly better today but staying inside and away from my neighbors, getting some simple mundane chores done. Watched all 3 1/2 hours of The Irishman AGAIN last night. Can’t get enough of that movie, and DeNiro reminds me of my dad in his later years.

Nice to see Chesney getting along with Annie for once. (Yeah, yeah, I know it’s an early strip.) On another note, saw four varied thrushes and a woodpecker while out walking today.
