My dentist has never given me anything stronger than ibuprofen. I have had two teeth pulled to be replaced with implants and two root canals over the years. What do other people’s dentists give them after these procedures? I get the feeling other people are given stuff a lot stronger than generic Motrin.

This is ridiculous, even though I know that we don’t come for “education” to the comics, but just for fun, but still, this teeth treatment for a 9-10 year old is way out there..I can suspend belief as far as a tooth extraction because of crowding, etc, but the “oral surgery” is a bit much, which usually happens when the kids are teens and the wisdom teeth crowd out the alignment..So going along with this line of suspended belief, how would a 9 or 10 year old know about stronger pain medication? Aren’t they still fairly ignorant even about how aspirin works? I know Heart is precocious, but even there Mark hasn’t made her too smart for her age in the past funny stories…
heh, my dentist gave me Oxycontin about 3 days’ worth ….. it cured all my physical ills …… i luckily realized that 1 I could get used to taking it and that wasnt necessarily was a good thing
