Poor Thanksgiving Day gets overshadowed.
More holidays=more excuses for heaps of seasonal food.
Isn’t it enough that the “Christmas season” extends from shortly after Labor Day until Valentine’s Day, when the bills come due?
That would sure make retailers happy, and they are doing their best to stretch it out.
The “Special” has already been taken out of so many things by having them readily available year-round.
