When I was a teenager one of my chores was to mow the lawn. Dad had a gas mower that always wore my arm out before it would start and halfway through the gas would run out and the can in the garage would be empty. That taught me a lot, for 50 years I have only used an electric mower and, even as a beginner, I NEVER had a problem with tangled (or mowed) cords.
