Plastic bins (transparent or solid) in my parents’ case.

Yes we must keep buying new stuff ! So what if the old still works ;-)

We have a box we store window candles in that has the store name on it that’s been out of business for decades. And when I say ”decades” I mean more than three. Most of the candles in it are one to two decades old.

I still have tree lights with the colored bubbling lights, two three candle sets with cloth power cords, and a mechanical timer power controller.

Hmmm… I wonder what ever happened to my grandparents’ rotating tree stand. Grandpa made it so you could see all of Grandma’s handmade ornaments.

My collection goes back to pre dimmer and pre flashing eras. One bulb fails and the whole string is dark vintage. Memories are made of this.

Hey, maybe 1200 baud modems will make a comeback. :)
