Somehow this made a long ago memory pop up in my head. I was 11, and these twin girls lived near the river where I had gone to swim. They invited me to come and see and ride their horses. It turned out the horse to ride was their front gate, and the horses to see were plastic horses that they pretended their Barbie dolls rode.
