    Dear Vagabonds

Ooo, that sounded soo formal. (^.^)

Nice morning with 62 degrees but cloudy, the day’s high should be 69 and believe it or not (hum, Ripley’s?) they are saying possible T-storms!! (O.O)

With a storm approaching it is safe to say the foliage season is coming to a close and stick season is starting. October is half gone and standard time comes the first Sunday in November.

The following is from “17 Scariest Places in Vermont website: The Vermont Police Academy was once a state hospital for tuberculosis patients, and it is said to still be haunted by a nurse named Mary who worked here during that era and had contracted TB herself. All of the old call buttons are still in the recruits’ rooms, and it is said that if pushed, the friendly ghost of the nurse, Mary, will pay a visit during the night. A haunted police school, there’s one for the books.

Welp, it’s Saturday, time to get food for the week so, Newport here I come. (0.0)

May God give you all a great day.

    Good Sunny morning. Vagabonds,

It’s supposed to reach 67 today! That’ll be so nice. In fact, it’ll be in the high 60’s for the next week. We had a magnificent sunrise a few minutes ago, with lots of golds and reds against a teal sky.

We had to run down to Home Depot to get a new kitchen faucet. Their supplies are so low! We had a lovely gal search the high shelves and came up empty. Finally she found a few on clearance for a hundred dollars cheaper!

    xoxo

    Good morning, Vagabonds & Shalom.

I am up early this morning in order to get ready to head for the Faire. This way I have had time for my devotions as well as visit with my vagabond friends. Mike will be here in an hour or so to put his costume together so I need to be dressed and ready to go when he gets here.

It’s a clear and chilly morning and the forecast is for 77 which should be a perfect day for the Faire. Tomorrow the winds will start picking up, and the tents & booths for the show will be in jeopardy. The cooler temps this morning will give me a chance to wear my floor length blue velvet cloak for the first time in years. I wonder how well that will go with a covid mask.

I spoke to someone who has been to the big Faire in Southern California recently. It seems that the park in Irwindale where they had it for several years got tired of the damage & trash generated by Faire goers and kicked them out a few years back. They are now having it in a nearby quarry which has no trees, no grass and no shade of any kind. They said the experience was miserable. I have been to that Faire when it was on the old MGM movie ranch in Devore, the Glen Helen park in San Bernardino and the park in Irwindale over a period of almost 50 years. I think I should give the new location a try at least once just to say that I had done so. Next spring, maybe. (But then that would mean travelling into California which I have said I won’t do anymore. Oh well.)

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.
