In 1988, Chief Alarmist James Hansen testified to Congress that the West Side Highway (NY 9A) along the Hudson River in Manhattan would be under water by 2020. It doesn’t appear even the piers along the shore have had to been moved. Looking at older pictures, the shore doesn’t seem to have been affected either.
Yes, climate is changing and man is part of the problem, but it is not the catastrophic doomsday published by the chicken littles in the media.
On the other side, thanks to fossil fuels, according to Human Progress, 137,000 people worldwide are lifted out of poverty EVERY DAY. Moving to nuclear and away from fossil fuels eventually is the right direction, but don’t stop human progress for fanatical predictions not likely to occur.
Yeah, but they’ll have a few cold days in Texas and that will prove the planet isn’t warming to a bunch of idiots that are still mad at their high school science teacher for not recognizing their brilliance, instead giving them the grades they deserved.
Interesting that US Navy has begun work to upgrade their port facilities to cope with rising water and bigger, wetter storms. Despite the various idjit denials from their putative bosses.
